Harry Connick Jr. Talks About “Dolphin Tale” and Filipino Food, Yum!

I love Harry Connick Jr.! He’s sweet, charming, and he remembered me from my first time meeting him for the movie “New in Town.” In “Dolphin Tale,” the actor plays Dr. Clay Haskett, the inspiring man who runs the Clearwater Marine Hospital.

It’s always a pleasure talking to this multi-faceted gentleman! In this interview, we talked about:

The incredible bond between humans and animals
Meeting Winter for the first time
What attracted him to his character?
The film’s “too good to be true” if it’s not based on real-life
Working on the set
His real-life counterpart, David Yates
Shifting gears, the actor and I decided to talk about Filipino Food! Yum! Balot, dinuguan, and many more!

HAVE FUN!

Swimming free, a young dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her tail. She is rescued and transported to the Clearwater Marine Hospital, where she is named Winter. It will take the expertise of a dedicated marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics doctor, and the unwavering devotion of a young boy to bring about a groundbreaking miracle -- a miracle that might not only save Winter but could also help scores of people around the world. This Looks Sooooo Good! Check Out New Trailer of "J. Edgar!"
I can't wait to see this! We all know that director Clint Eastwood is a certifiable "Oscar bait" and he's at it again with this seemingly potent film about the life and times of the crime fighter. Leonardo DiCaprio stars in the titular role, and "The Social Network's" Armie Hammer is Clyde Tolson, the is-he-or-is-he-not the lover of Hoover?

Academy Award-winner Dustin Lance Black ("Milk") wrote the script, so this may have weight and gravitas needed to tell the story of "J. Edgar." The Warner Bros. film opens November 9th.

Here's more info on "J. Edgar" Hoover from Yahoo:

Based on the life of J. Edgar Hoover, the man often credited with making the FBI what it is today: an efficient, crime-fighting organization shrouded in secrecy. Hoover founded the organization in 1935 and remained director until his death in 1972.

Genres: Drama and Biopic
Release Date: November 9th, 2011 (limited)
Distributors: Warner Bros. Pictures

Cast and Credits
Starring: Lea Coco, Leonardo DiCaprio, Josh Lucas, Armie Hammer, Damon Herriman
Directed by: Clint Eastwood
Produced by: Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Robert Lorenz
