The brave dolphin Winter returns alongside Nathan Gamble (Sawyer), Cozi Zuehlsdorff (Hazel), Ashley Judd (Lorraine), Harry Connick Jr. (Dr. Clay Haskett), Austin Stowell (Kyle), and Morgan Freeman (Dr. Cameron McCarthy) for the sequel “Dolphin Tale 2.” Director Charles Martin Smith also returns to the world of Winter as well as the pesky but adorable Rufus the Pelican.
Is the sequel better than the first? Take a look at my review of “Dolphin Tale 2!”
Here’s the official synopsis of “Dolphin Tale 2”
Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment's "Dolphin Tale 2" continues the story of the brave dolphin Winter, whose miraculous rescue and recovery-thanks to a groundbreaking prosthetic tail-made her a symbol of hope and perseverance to people around the world and inspired the 2011 family hit movie "Dolphin Tale." The film reunites the entire main cast, led by Harry Connick, Jr., Oscar (R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby"), Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, Nathan Gamble, CoziZuehlsdorff, Austin Stowell, and, of course, the remarkable dolphin Winter as herself. Charles Martin Smith, who directed "Dolphin Tale," wrote the sequel and is again at the helm. It has been several years since young Sawyer Nelson (Gamble) and the dedicated team at the Clearwater Marine Hospital, headed by Dr. Clay Haskett (Connick, Jr.), rescued Winter. With the help of Dr. Cameron McCarthy (Freeman), who developed a unique prosthetic tail for the injured dolphin, they were able to save her life. (C) Warner Bros

I had a great week covering heartwarming stories! Monday began with our National Hug Your Hound Day! We went to Paws & Hearts to see the true meaning of the special day:
And then we visited Spa Resort Casino for the first ever Housekeeping Olympics in honor of the International Housekeeping Week:
We also made a difference by teaming up with United Way of the Desert and The Desert Sun for the 2014 Make A Difference Day! To practice for the Palm Springs Tram Challenge, we've been doing our Saturday morning walks visiting different cities in the Coachella Valley. This Saturday, it's going to be at Rancho Las Flores in Coachella:
A representative from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley talked about our Make a Difference Day:
We visited College of the Desert for their Girlfriend Factor -- a special education and career exploration to benefit women and the community:
An accomplished actor, Aneta Cruz, credits the Girlfriend Factor for her success. She's a mother of 4 kids, teacher of autistic children, and a writer for various genres. Take a look at her heartwarming story:

Monday began with a visit to Desert Adventures Eco-Tours in Indio, CA. Every time there's an earthquake in the valley, folks want to partake on their tour because they're sitting smack dab on the San Andreas Fault! Take a look:
Tuesday, I went to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino because all week we have been talking about local destinations for Labor Day weekend! Brian Wilson, and one of the founding father of the Beach Boys, Al Jardine, will perform at the resort together! How cool is that?
Wednesday, my adventure continued at The Living Desert! Their theme is BABIES IN BLOOM! Why? Because there are many cute babies at the zoo! I met a baby porcupine (they're called porcupet do you know that?) named Tootsie, and baby goats! Take a look:
Also on Wednesday, I visited Jessup Auto Plaza because they're the sponsor of our practice walks every Saturday morning to prepare for the Palm Springs Tram Challenge benefiting the United Way of the Desert. The charity attached to this Saturday is the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City:
