Brad Pitt Apologizes to Film Critics

According to Teen Hollywood, Brad Pitt says sorry to film critics because of his performance in his early flicks like "Meet Joe Black" and "Seven Years in Tibet."

Come on! His star-making turn in "Thelma & Louise" is probably still one of his greatest roles! He nearly stole that flick from Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon!

But thanks Brad, apology accepted but not needed! You should rather apologize for posting in pictures like this :)

First it was 1964's "Last Man on Earth," then 1971's "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston.

Now, we have the new film retaining the original title of the book that inspired all three film incarnations, "I Am Legend" from novelist Richard Matheson.

This time, Will Smith stars as Robert Neville, the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world!

Director Francis Lawrence entertained me with "Constantine," so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll turn in a good sci-fi.

Here's the new Official trailer, of "I Am Legend." The film opens Dec. 14th!

Fanning Sisters Join Cameron Diaz in New Tearjerker

Dakota and Elle Fanning will play Cameron Diaz's daughters in the film "My Sister's Keeper."

It's based on the book by Jodi Picoult.

Nick Cassavetes is signed on to direct this movie about a young girl (Elle) who sues her parents for medical emancipation in order to help her cancer-stricken sister (Dakota).

I love Dakota, and Elle is quickly following her older sister's footsteps. This movie sounds like a great tearjerker that both sisters are good at doing!

Woody Harrelson and Oliver Stone -- Together Again!!!

Not only is Oliver Stone reteaming with Woody Harrelson, he's also going back to his roots...the Vietnam War genre!

The film is currently titled "Pinkville."

Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum will join Harrelson in the telling of the My Lai Massacre.

Foreign Language Films --- Lost in Translation?
"Letters from Iwo Jima" and "Apocalypto" confused the heck out of the Golden Globes folks last year! Both films are too foreign to be nominated for Best Picture so they were relegated to the foreign-language film category.

Meanwhile, at the Oscars, both films were too American to be Best Foreign-Language Film contenders!

So what's going to happen to "The Kite Runner?" The problem-plagued film is getting major buzz, but the Hollywood-produced movie may either be too American for the Oscars, and too foreign for the Globes.
