Christopher Nolan's "Inception" to be seen in Imax

Christopher Nolan and Imax are back together again! The director's "Dark Knight" grossed $65 million on Imax screens, and his "Batman Begins" was also shown on giant screens.

Now, Nolan's sci-fi pic "Inception" will be released on Imax screens as well. Imax Corp. has announced "Inception" will be unveiled on giant screens on July 16, 2010.

"Inception" stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page and Nolan's lucky charm, Michael Caine. It's about the dark architectures of the human mind.

If you remember, Nolan shot specific Imax scenes for "The Dark Knight," so expect for the director to have giant-screen-ready sequences for "Inception."

See New "Tooth Fairy" Trailer with Dwayne Johnson! A Disney Film NOT Made by Disney!

"Tooth Fairy" starring Dwayne Johnson is a Disney movie NOT made by Disney! Just consider the premise, it sounds like "The Game Plan" with a little bit of fairy dust. Johnson plays a pro hockey player nicknamed the Tooth Fairy. Why? Because he knocks out other players' teeth. He disappoints a young boy, so he's ordered to one week's hard labor as the real...tan dan dan...Tooth Fairy!

There will be a lot of fairy goodness here from Johnson, who by the way, is a sweet man! (Check out my interview with Johnson for "Race to Witch Mountain" right here)

"Tooth Fairy" is from director Michael Lembeck who gave us "Santa Clause 2 & 3," and "Connie and Carla." The film also stars Ashley Judd and Julie Andrews. This film's from Fox.

"Tooth Fairy" is rated PG and flies into theaters January 22nd, 2010.

Take a look at the trailer:

Meet the Cast of "Let the Right One In" Remake!

Last July, I told you that I was brokenhearted because one of my fave films from 2008 is being remade! Yes, "Let the Right One In" was being given that good, old Hollywood touch! (Take a look at my Top 10 Best Films of 2008)

And, "Cloverfield" director Matt Reeves is going to helm! I don't know about you, but the quiet tone of the original Swedish film is very different from the loud bang of "Cloverfield."

But, I'm giving Reeves, Hammer Films, and Overture the benefit of the doubt. They may surprise us! (Read my original article on the remake right here)

Before we talk about the cast (and it's a good sign, because the cast looks good), here's what you need to know about the remake:

1) Reeves is writing and directing the remake based on the novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist
2) It's now going to be called "Let Me In"
3) The setting will be in Colorado during the Reagan administration (yes, Colorado to capture the chilly mood of the original film)
4) The remake comes out in Fall of 2010

Now, the cast. Chloe Moretz will play the role that actress Lina Leandersson played in the original. Moretz will be Eli (they may change the name to make her sound more American, don't you think?), the vampire girl. And Kodi Smit-McPhee will play Kåre Hedebrant's Oskar, the boy who falls in love with Eli.

Meanwhile, Richard Jenkins (Oscar nominee for "The Visitor") will play the father figure/guardian of the girl. In the original film, he's portrayed as a tragic character.

I truly love this coming of age vampire tale, so I hope Reeves and company don't mess it up royally or I'll be very upset!

"Let Me In" is set to begin production this fall and set for release fall of 2010.

"Transformers 3" Will Stomp Into Theaters on July 1, 2011

Summer of 2011 is shaping up to be one of the biggest blockbuster seasons ever!

Paramount picked July 1, 2011 to roll out "Transformers 3." Director Michael Bay is set to return, as well as Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

On his website, Bay announced that he's begun meetings with ILM and Hasbro, and writer Ehren Kruger.

But giant robots must fight with super heroes and a certain panda who loves kung fu for world domination!

In May of 2011, "Spider-Man 4" will swing into action, and "Thor" flies into theaters that month as well. Oh, and "The Hangover 2" will open in May too!

In June, "The Green Lantern" will be launched and the sequel to "Kung Fu Panda" will kick its way to theaters. And in July, along with "Transformers 3," the second part of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will spread its magic as well.

But wait, there's more! Also out in July of 2011 are "The First Avenger: Captain America," "Battleship" and "The Smurfs."

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is also set to sail that summer. Whew! It's gonna be a big summer season, I told 'ya.
