How Natalie Portman Helped "The Social Network"

Natalie Portman helped writer Aaron Sorkin with his research of "The Social Network." In the film, Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) creates Facebook's template using Harvard's legendary final clubs -- private groups made up of some of the school's most privileged students.

Problem is, the clubs are very secretive. So Portman stepped in to help! The actress went to Harvard from 1999 to 2003 and dated a member of the Porcellian Club. According to EW, Sorkin told a group of Harvard students before a screening last week that:

“Natalie Portman got in touch with me when she heard that I was doing this to say, ‘Listen…come over for dinner and I’ll tell you some stories...I would’ve come over for dinner under any circumstances. But that was really helpful.”

So there you have it, Portman helped shape one of the best scripts this year!

Matthew McConaughey Reteams with "Dazed and Confused" Director for "Bernie"

Richard Linklater gave Matthew McConaughey his first big break in the iconic "Dazed and Confused." Years later, the director and star will team up again for the dark comedy "Bernie."

McConaughey will be joining Jack Black, Shirley Maclaine, and Rip Torn for this Mandalay Vision and Castle Rock Entertainment project. "Bernie" will shoot in Texas next month.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

"Bernie" is set in the small town of Carthage, Texas, and follows Renaissance man/community leader/mortician Bernie (Black), who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a wealthy but very particular widow (MacLaine). When he kills her, he goes to great lengths to maintain the illusion that she is still alive.

McConaughey will play the town's district attorney, always angling for re-election and suspicious about the widow's death. Torn will play Bernie's defense lawyer.

Oh I get it, it's like "Weekend at Bernie's" with Maclaine playing the dead one.

Spoiler Alert! Michael Caine Explains "Inception" Ending! It Makes Perfect Sense!

Christopher Nolan's "Inception" is truly one of the best films of the year and is also one of the most debated movies of 2010. The point of contention? The ending! Did Leonardo DiCaprio's character really reunited with his children or was it all a dream?

Michael Caine explained the ending to BBC Radio's The Chris Moyles Show and he said:

"[The spinning top] drops at the end, that's when I come back on. If I'm there it's real, because I'm never in the dream. I'm the guy who invented the dream."

And that makes perfect sense! It means that DiCaprio's heartfelt reunion with his kids is real and not a dream within a dream within a dream!
