Johnny Depp Wants to Be Dr. Seuss!

This should go well with your green eggs and ham! Johnny Depp is set to star as Dr. Seuss! The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Illumination Entertainment and Infinitum Nihil are working on a live-action movie about the life of classic children's author and illustrator Dr. Seuss aka Theodor Geisel.

Depp is set to produce the project and Universal Pictures will distribute. Keith Bunin is writing the screenplay.

The actor already starred as a famous writer before, that of J.M. Barrie, the guy who gave us "Peter Pan" in the film "Finding Neverland." So this is perfect! Oh the places Depp will go!

Dakota Goyo Talks About “Real Steel!” He Taught Me How to Robot Dance!

I have much respect for Dakota Goyo! Truth be told, the child actor stole “Real Steel” from Hugh Jackman and he is one of the main reasons I’m recommending the movie 100%! He has been working virtually all of his life, yet, Dakota remains grounded, but he truly loves what he does! And he goes to a regular school and he says he doesn’t bring this “acting stuff” with him back home. Smart kid!

In the movie, Dakota plays Max, Jackman’s character’s estranged son. He awakens the fighting spirit of his wayward father. Dakota reminds me of a young Ricky Schroder from “The Champ.” And sure enough, there’s a scene in “Real Steel” where his character chants “champ, champ, champ” and I was in tears. (Read my "Real Steel" movie review right here)

In this interview, we talked about:

*** His interest in the character Max
*** The audition process – he auditioned 4 times!
*** Bonding with Hugh Jackman
*** The biggest challenge as an actor in “Real Steel”
*** The “Real Steel” Robots!
*** Who is his favorite bot?
*** Atom, the magical bot!
*** The dancing scenes between Max and Atom
*** Dakota is really proud of this movie!
*** Will his friends watch “Real Steel?”
*** And then he teaches me the robot dance he and Atom performed in the movie!

Here's more info on "Real Steel" from Yahoo:

When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

Should You Watch "Real Steel?" Read My Review!

When I first saw the trailer for “Real Steel,” I quickly dismissed it as a derivative film that was produced simply to lure the Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em kids in all of us. We grew up with the boxing robots toy, and Walt Disney Pictures just wanted to capitalize on our nostalgia.

I was wrong.

"Dolphin Tale" Swims Upward, Dethrones "The Lion King"

Last week "Dolphin Tale" debuted third at the box-office, but this weekend, the film claimed the top spot with $14.2 million. Inspired by the amazing true story of Winter, "Dolphin Tale" landed at No. 1 and successfully dethroned Disney's "The Lion King" which has been at the top spot for the past two weekends.

Exclusive "Dolphin Tale" Interviews (Click the names to see full interviews):

"The Lion King" fell to No. 3 with $11.1 million, while Sony's Brad Pitt flick "Moneyball" remained at No. 2 with $12.5 million.

Three new weekend releases failed to steal the top spot. "50/50" the cancer dramedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen debuted at No. 4 with $8.85 million, while the faith-based "Courageous" also from Sony opened at No. 5 with $8.8 million.

Universal did not screen "Dream House" for critics, and apparently, viewers were not in the mood to watch the scary flick as well. Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Naomi Watts star in the film which debuted at No. 6 with $8.2 million. (Check out our TOP 10 BEST HAUNTED HOUSE MOVIES right here)

Another film that flopped was Fox's romantic comedy "What's Your Number?" starring Anna Faris and Chris Evans which debuted at No. 8 with $5.6 million. Yikes!
