Okay...if I was a member of the deciding jury, I'd just give it to "Ratatouille" and call it a day!
The animated rat flick is the best animated film this year...so far!
The Academy (AMPAS) must sort through 12, yes, 12 films!
BUT THEY MUST WHITTLE IT DOWN TO THREE FILMS...MAXIMUM!!! HHHHMMMM....I'D SAY..."RATATOUILLE," "BEOWULF," "THE SIMPSONS."

'Tis the season for Oscar contenders, and one of those hopefuls is "Reservation Road" by Focus Features.
Great cast including Joaquin Phoenix, Jennifer Connely, Mira Sorvino, and Mark Ruffalo.
Connely deserves a Best Supporting Actress nomination!

When I watch a new film, I always hope, in the deep recesses of my mind, that it will turn out to be a good movie. Seeing a flick deeply affects my mood, especially if I have to drive to Los Angeles to watch it.
If it’s a good flick, then I’m on cloud nine, but if it’s a bad movie, you will not want to drive with me. While “Fred Claus” is not horrible, it’s a stinker enough to put me in a bad mood from now until Christmas.

Billy Bob Thornton just signed on to join the cast of "Eagle Eye," starring Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, and Rosario Dawson.
The flick is going to be directed by D.J. Caruso.
The thriller is about a mom (Monaghan) and her son (LaBeouf) who have been mistaken as terrorists, and now, must carry out a political assassination.
Sounds intriguing -- just don't let Shia into any drugstore on location!
