What Happens When "Twilight's" Robert Pattinson Visits the King of Prussia Mall

Everybody wants "Twilight." The hype is deafening! We can't escape it!

So when Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) visited the King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia, 1,000 teenage girls followed!

But here's a question -- were the screaming girls there for Pattinson or for his character Edward (there were many Team Edward fans in the crowd)?

Hhhm, you be the judge, and read this interesting article about Pattinson's mall visit!

We'll talk "Twilight" this Friday!

Do You Want to See Eddie Murphy as the "Nutty Professor" Again?

Apparently, our friends from Universal Pictures think you do! According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the studio and Imagine Entertainment are in the early stages of developing a new "Nutty Professor" movie, in what would be the third installment of the remake of the 1963 Jerry Lewis vehicle. An open call is out to writers for their take on a potential third entry."

If you're a writer, start thinking of nutty ways you want Eddie Murphy to do to re-energize this franchise!

Keep it simple, and with a lot heart! Bear in mind, Mister Eddie's choices have been crappy lately ("Meet Dave" anyone?), so you got to give the comedian a chance to shine!

'Cause he did shine in the first "Nutty Professor" I think.

But here's the kicker. "Murphy is not attached to a new "Nutty"; his involvement would be contingent on the writer, director and other elements."

Other elements? What? A perfect fat suit maybe? :happy

"Race to Witch Mountain" Trailer

I grew up with the "Witch Mountain' franchise, so I'm sorta excited about this film starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and AnnaSophia Robb.

We also reported back in April that the original "Witch Mountain" kids, Ike Eisenmann and Kim Richards are coming back for the reboot.

That's more exciting :happy

The movie comes out March 13th, from Walt Disney Pictures.

Take a look at the trailer right here.

"XXX" Vin Diesel's Return Gets Writers

As we reported back in September, Vin Diesel is set to return in "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage."

Now, Variety is reporting that "Terminator: Salvation" writers Michael Ferris and John Brancato are in talks to write a script that will reunite Vin Diesel with director Rob Cohen.

Apparently, the pair of scribes pitched their idea for a new installment last Friday to Columbia Pictures presidents Matt Tolmach and Doug Belgrad.

But before becoming Xander Cage, Diesel will first be seen as Dominic Toretto in the fourth installment of "Fast and Furious" to be released June 12 by Universal Pictures.

No word yet if Diesel is going to don the babysitter outfit of Shane Wolfe for "The Pacifier" sequel :wink

The Latest, I Swear, About "Australia"

Okay, just literally hours before the Nov. 18 world premiere of "Australia," no one has actually seen the final cut! Oh sure, Oprah viewers saw a rough cut of the movie back in June.

But, Baz is known for meticulously tweaking his project right down to the wire!

And oftentimes, he's heard talking about all the dramas he had to go through to making the movie.

I'm beginning to think Mister Baz is a Drama Queen!

First we talked about the unhappy fans about Baz's "Australia" happy ending.

Then, Baz was heard answering all these rumors.

Now, two days before the premiere, we're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So what do Oprah and her followers think of the film?

Variety reported that:

Oprah and her audience certainly went gaga.

"It's the best movie I've seen in a long, long time," Winfrey gushed on the Nov. 10 show. "They just don't make movies like that anymore. ... It is epic, it is majestic, it is romantic, it is a spectacle. The scenery is so gorgeous. It's everything a great movie should be."

As for the controversial ending? Did you know Baz wrote six endings for the movie?

Luhrmann wrote six endings, shot three, and tested three different versions of the film. Someone does die at the end of the pic, but Luhrmann found an ending with hope.

Baz folks were heard saying it's not a simplistic ending, but an utterly satisfying one.

We'll see about that! :tongue
