Reunited and It Feels So Good! John Cho & Kal Penn Talk About "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas"

It was very interesting meeting John Cho and Kal Penn together, the actors behind the hit franchise, "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas." I've interviewed Cho before for "Star Trek" but he was much more ebullient for the bromantic/stoner film. And of course, Penn has made news lately for famously ditching showbiz for 2 years so he could work for the White House. More power to him! ("A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" Movie Review)

In this interview, we talked about:

*** What interested them to reunite for the third installment?
*** The film is naughty and nice!
*** It's interesting that the "Harold & Kumar" is the first franchise to feature non-Caucasian or non-African-American actors
*** The Wafflebot!
*** Was it shot in sequence? The actors did not reunite until weeks after the shoot!
*** Cho revealed that the first week of rehearsal did not gel for him
*** Since "Guantanamo Bay," Cho moved on to star in "Star Trek" and Penn moved to the White House. How did these experience inform their career choices?

HAVE FUN!

What's the Best Munchie Ever? Neil Patrick Harris Reveals the Answer and Much More in this Interview for "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas"

I wasn't much of a fan of Neil Patrick Harris, well okay, for "Doogie Howser, M.D." yeah, but meeting the actor has changed my mind. Besides his super-funny turn in "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas," he was also very sweet in person.

In the film, he plays himself or his acronym NPH, he's a straight actor playing gay for his career and to get girls. The horror! ("A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" Movie Review)

In this interview, we talked about:

*** What made him want to join the franchise the third time around?
*** How did the "Harold & Kumar" series help his career?
*** From a child prodigy to a respected comedian, Neil Patrick Harris is having a wonderful life!
*** According to the movie, he's not gay! Gasp!
*** What did he think of the funny twist given to his character?
*** Best munchie ever!
*** What's next for NPH?

HAVE FUN!

Tom Lennon Talks About Smoking Pot and Much More for this "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" Interview

Tom Lennon of "Reno 911" fame has been a busy bee. Besides scriptwriting (he wrote the "Night at the Museum" movies), he also stars in movies such as the upcoming "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas." In the film, he plays Harold's new friend, Todd, who's a straight-laced father. He and his baby nearly stole the film! ("A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" Movie Review)

I first met the comedian for the press junket for "17 Again," and he's always refreshing to talk to. Lennon has a dry wit, and you have to constantly stay on your toes to keep up.

In this interview, we talked about:
*** Why he decided to join the "Harold & Kumar" franchise
*** His baby
*** Shooting the Christmas movie in Detroit in the middle of the summer
*** Was he a fan of the franchise?
*** He's not the most reliable pot smoker
*** The best muchie ever!
*** What's going on with "Reno 911?" Are we going to see him again as Lt. Dangle?

HAVE FUN!

"A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" Movie Review! How Many Kisses Do John Cho and Kal Penn Get?

Much like the beloved heroes of the franchise, the “Harold & Kumar” series is growing up. The third installment still features toilet humor and gasp, male and female nudity, but the jokes are a bit smarter and the direction is a tad sharper.

The film even touches on problems with Wall Street when Harold (John Cho), who has now climbed up the ladder of success at the investment firm of Brewster Keegan, must run for safety as the protesters pelt him with eggs. Read More...

"Puss in Boots" Claws its Way to No. 1 with $34M!

Trick or treaters, snowstorm in the east, and Halloween be damned, "Puss in Boots" emerged victorious at the box-office against all odds. The DreamWorks 3D flick proved that this kitty has legs beyond the "Shrek" franchise.

Both Justin Timberlake and Johnny Depp were no match to the power of Puss! "In Time" starring Timberlake about the scarcity of time, debuted at No. 3 with $12 million while "The Rum Diary" featuring Depp entered at No. 5 with $5 million, a low debut for a movie with a $50 million budget.

It is indeed a great weekend for Paramount. Its remake of "Footloose" took the No. 4 spot with $5.4 million. Take that Johnny Depp!

Here's the Top 10 Box-Office Films for Halloween weekend 2011:

1. "Puss in Boots," $34 million
