Garry Marshall is always fun to talk to! I sat down with the director last year for “Valentine’s Day” and in 2005 for “Chicken Little.” This time, he returns with another star-studded extravaganza with “New Year’s Eve.” I love Halle Berry in the film, and did you know that the actress almost didn’t make the film?
In this interview, we talked about:
*** What made him interested in making “New Year’s Eve?” They shot all the New Year’s Eve shenanigans in Times Square last year
*** The unpredictable twists and turns! Marshall taught me a new word – portmanteau, which means intersecting stories
*** All he wants is to make you feel good, leave on a positive note, awwwww
*** It’s all about love in Marshall’s world
*** I love Halle Berry!
Have Fun!

I interviewed Jake T. Austin before for “Hotel for Dogs,” he was a little boy then, so I was very surprised to see him all grown up! He’s taller than me! I had a blast talking to he and Emma Roberts for “Hotel for Dogs,” and I had a great time again, interviewing the actor for “New Year’s Eve.” He plays Seth, the love interest of another “oh my gosh she’s grown up” actress, Abigail Breslin.
In this interview, we talked about:
*** Working for “Wizards of Waverly Place”
*** What attracted him to making “New Year’s Eve”
*** Working with Garry Marshall
*** Working with Abigail Breslin
*** What’s on top of his New Year’s resolution list?
*** What is he looking forward to in 2012?
*** What’s next for Jake T. Austin the actor?
Have fun!

Hector Elizondo is director Garry Marshall’s lucky charm. He has made 17 movies with Marshall. I interviewed the actor last year for “Valentine’s Day,” and this year, once again, I was regaled by Elizondo. In “New Year’s Eve,” he stars as Kominsky, the MacGyver-type of guy who helps unstuck the New Year’s Ball!
In this interview, we talked about:
*** Working with Marshall for 17 times
*** What attracted him to the role of Kominsky
*** His New Year’s resolutions
*** What he’s looking forward to in 2012
*** He loves Filipinos! Yay!
Have fun!

( 2.9 / 229 )Earlier this year, when I interviewed the Farrelly brothers for "Hall Pass," they talked about their planned "Three Stooges" movie. The interest in this film is high because once upon a time, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, and Jim Carrey were attached to the movie. Then casting shuffle ensues when the above actors left production, and now we have Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos to play the main characters Larry, Moe, and Curly. Heck, even Sofia Vergara, Larry David, Jennifer Hudson and Jane Lynch are joining the fun!
And now, we present you the trailer of "Three Stooges" from Fox. But, honestly? It doesn't look funny, no? Are Penn, Carrey, and del Toro right in exiting the project?

If you think “New Year’s Eve” is very similar to 2010’s “Valentine’s Day,” you are absolutely correct! Director Garry Marshall returns with a movie about intersecting lives amidst the backdrop of the New Year’s Eve ball drop in New York City.
Like “Valentine’s Day,” “New Year’s Eve” is all about love. Some characters are struck by Cupid’s arrow and some are trying their best to avoid it. But scriptwriter Katherine Fugate, the same scribe who wrote “Valentine’s Day,” devised unpredictable twists and turns which make the second half of the film stronger than the first half.
