When I first met Chadwick Boseman, it was for his effective portrayal of Thurgood Marshall for “Marshall.”  This was in October of 2017, mere months before he took the universe by storm for his iconic portrayal of T’Challa as the King of Wakanda in “Black Panther.”  But he was already brilliant in my book.  When I asked him about the legacy of Marshall, Boseman said, “We still have a divisive society right now, we still have white supremacy!  But we’ve beaten it before and we’ll do it again!”  Spoken like a true king!

Thank you for your passion and the celluloid memories Mister Chadwick, and Rest in Power my king!
