Who's Going to Play "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter?"

Fox has announced that Benjamin Walker will star as Honest Abe in "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." This will be the first film by Timur Bekmambetov since 2008's "Wanted."

I love this book! It shows the beloved Lincoln as a vampire hunter, forced into fighting the undead during the Civil War. Walker ("Flags of Our Fathers," "Kinsey") will play Lincoln from the age of 20 to 55, a challenging and daunting task specially since Bekmambetov revealed that they are going to keep the traditional look of Lincoln. Here's more of what the director revealed last year about the movie, "He has to be historically correct, but with a few special weapons. There is only one book, but there will be many opportunities to develop and explore this world if we get to do sequels. I hope we will start this winter. We are shooting in America." Another juicy role is the part of Henry Sturges, Lincoln's mentor and the one who teaches him vampire hunting. The part was originally offered to Tom Hardy ("Inception") but the actor chose to work on "The Dark Knight Rises" as Bane for Christopher Nolan.
