The new film “Nanny” from Amazon Studios is thrilling and heartfelt and has a lot to say about immigration and the immigrant experience. I loved the film that’s why it was so much fun to talk to writer/director Nikyatu Jusu and her star, the memorable Anna Diop as Aisha. We talked about the making of the film, fleshing out characters, and the immigrant experience.

“Nanny” will have a limited theatrical release on November 23 by Amazon Studios and will stream on Prime Video starting December 16.
