Movie fans have a full slate of options this weekend, from horror thrills to heartfelt laughs and even a Broadway classic.

At the top of the list is The Conjuring: Last Rites. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren, this time tackling the infamous Smurl haunting. Directed by Michael Chaves, who has helmed other entries in the franchise, the film serves as the closing chapter of the Conjuring universe’s first phase. Blending scares with themes of family resilience, the movie promises both suspense and emotional depth.

For audiences in the mood for something lighter, The Threesome offers a witty and unexpected take on modern love. Starring Jonah Hauer-King as Connor, Zoey Deutch as Olivia, and Ruby Cruz as Jenny, the film explores romance, vulnerability, and the complications of relationships in a surprisingly respectful yet sexy way. Director Chad Hartigan crafts a romantic comedy that feels fresh, funny, and emotionally honest.  Click here to see our uncut interviews with the cast of “The Threesome.”

Rounding out the lineup is Hamilton, which makes its way back to theaters to mark its 10th anniversary. While fans may recognize much from the Disney+ version, this release includes a new prologue and added footage, offering a renewed chance to experience Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning musical on the big screen.

From chilling horror to heartfelt comedy and an iconic Broadway performance, theaters are delivering something for every taste this weekend.
