Taron Egerton shows a different side of him as an actor in the new crime-thriller-drama “She Rides Shotgun.” From Nick Rowland and based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Jordan Harper, Egerton is Nate who is trying to make a fresh start after his release from jail. But soon, he is forced to go on the run with his daughter Polly (Ana Sohia Heger).
I spent some time with Egerton to talk about his interest in the film and why this specific role scared him initially.
