Laila Lockhart Kraner has always been there with us as Gabby from the very beginning when “Gabby’s Dollhouse” premiered on Netflix on January 5, 2021.  It became a worldwide hit and so, fast forward to 2025, we are getting a big screen version simply called “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie.”

In the sweet and charming film, Kraner returns as our kitty enthusiast Gabby.  She goes on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi (Gloria Estefan) to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco.  But when Gabby’s dollhouse is stolen by an eccentric cat lady named Vera (Kristen Wiig), Gabby goes on an adventure to get her Gabby Cats back together and save the dollhouse.

In this interview, Kraner talks about the popularity of “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” working with both Estefan and Wiig, and what theme spoke to her the most.

Remember, pinch on your left, pinch pinch on your right, grab Pandy’s hand and hold on tight and watch “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie” when it opens on September 26.
