“Boots” Interview with Miles Heizer, Max Parker, and Liam Oh

I had a great time watching “Boots” series on Netflix as much as talking to the cast.  Based on the memoir The Pink Marine by Greg Cope White, Miles Heizer stars as Cameron Cope, a secretly gay teenager who joins the marines during the 1990s before Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.  Liam Oh is his straight best friend Ray McAffey.  Meanwhile, Max Parker is Sergeant Robert “Bobby” Sullivan, a mysterious drill instructor who is hiding secrets of his own.
