Filmmaker Rebecca Miller (“Angela,” “Personal Velocity: Three Portraits”) set her sights on the greatest living American filmmaker Martin Scorsese. The five-part documentary, debuting on Apple TV+ on October 17. I spent some time with the director to talk about her interest in creating the film, the Scorsese dichotomy of Catholicism and violence, and what she hoped for viewers to get after watching the film.
