The new Amazon Prime Video Christmas rom-com “Merv” talks about a depressed dog named Merv (played by the lovely Gus) reeling from the break-up of his owners played by Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox.

From director Jessica Swale (“Summerland”), the film is sweet and charming just like Gus!
