Claire Foy Talks “H is for Hawk”

It’s always lovely to chat with Claire Foy.  She’s not only a commendable actress, she’s also very sweet and funny!  In “H is for Hawk,” Foy embodies real-life author Helen Macdonald who learned to train a goshawk named Mabel when her father (played by Brendan Gleeson in the film) passed away.  The film, like the memoir, speaks volumes on grief and grieving.

In this interview, Foy takes us behind the scenes of the making of the film, how she got interested to join the cast, how she trained as a falconer, and what she learned from talking to the real Helen Macdonald.
