The new “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” is fun and heartfelt and central to the story is Holly Hunter’s Captain Nahla Ake. On the other end of the spectrum is our Big Bad, Paul Giamatti as Nus Braka, the part-Klingon, part-Tellarite who sows division among the young cadets.
I spent some time with the actors to talk about their characters, and what it means to be part of the ever-expanding “Star Trek” universe.
