Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays a fierce female pirate protecting her daughter from Karl Urban’s vengeful nemesis in “The Bluff.”  From writer/director Frank E. Flowers, “The Bluff” is a nerve-racking, intense, and heartfelt swashbuckler.  Like what Urban says, it’s a love story with the volume turned up.  In this interview, we talked about Priyanka’s interest in the film, their dynamics as dueling pirates, and the real story of female pirates from the 1800s.

Writer-director Frank E. Flowers Talk Prime’s “The Bluff”

Caymanian filmmaker Frank E. Flowers is so proud to share a bit of his home in “The Bluff.”  It’s a drama-action-adventure about dueling pirates, motherhood, and love starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karl Urban.

I spent some time with Flowers to talk about his interest in making the film, working with Jonas and the Russo Brothers, and what he hopes for viewers to get after watching the film.
