HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL — Eva Noblezada as Eurydice & Reeve Carney as Orpheus Reunite for the Big Screen Event! 🎭🔥

I caught up with Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney for something truly special — the Big Screen Event of HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL, filmed live at London’s Lyric Theatre! Guys, this one hit different. 💫

Eva and I go way back to THE YELLOW ROSE, and reuniting with her for this was like a full-circle moment in itself. We talked about what it meant to bring years of personal growth back into Eurydice for this West End run, getting “the gang” back together with André, Amber, and Patrick, and — of course — PINOY POWER. From Lea Salonga to Eva, Filipino performers have left a massive legacy in musical theater, and now young Pinoy actors everywhere get to see her on the BIG SCREEN and say “I can do that too.” 🇵🇭✨

And Reeve opened up on something wild — this film literally captures the origin story of his and Eva’s real-life love story, back when they first met at chemistry reads for the show… and didn’t even think the other one liked them! Now married, watching it back on screen hits totally different.

HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL begins its theatrical run January 24th — don’t miss it on the big screen!

A super big congrats to the whole HADESTOWN family — and unlike the show’s twist, when it comes to this cast… it’s always great to look back. Mwah! 💋

HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL — André De Shields (Hermes) & Patrick Page (Hades) Reunite for the Big Screen! 🔥🎭

I sat down with two Broadway titans — Tony winner André De Shields and the incomparable Patrick Page — to talk about bringing HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL from the stage to the big screen. Mr. Andre takes us inside how Hermes’ role as storyteller-guide translates to the cinematic experience, while Mr. Patrick opens up about the complex vulnerability behind Hades — and how the camera lets him show what the back row never could. We also get into the emotional pull of reuniting with the original Broadway cast, how “Why We Build the Wall” hits differently on a global screen, and what director Brett Sullivan did to make an epic stage production feel completely natural on film.

HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL begins its theatrical run January 24th — guys, do not miss this one. Mwah! 💋
