It was such a pleasure talking to Emerald Fennell, the Oscar-winning writer/director of “Promising Young Woman.”  She’s back with the deliciously sexy gothic thriller “Saltburn” with Barry Keoghan’s star-making turn as the mysterious Oliver.

In this interview, Fennell talks about the impetus of “Saltburn,” working with young actors Keoghan and Jacob Elordi, and why you won’t look at a bathtub the same way ever again.

“Saltburn” is now showing in theaters nationwide.

I always enjoy talking to Rosamund Pike.  She’s always a fun interviewee with a keen sense of her work.  In “Saltburn,” the Oscar-nominated actress stars as Lady Elspeth Catton, the lady of the gothic manor called Saltburn.

I spent some time with Pike to talk about her interest in making the film, her character, and working with both Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi.

“Saltburn” from writer-director Emerald Fennell also stars Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, and Carey Mulligan.
