🎬 TARANTINO STUNS AFI FEST WITH 17 MINUTES OF BRAD PITT’S NEW CLIFF BOOTH MOVIE!
SURPRISE! HOLLYWOOD’S COOLEST STUNTMAN IS BACK!
Now THIS is how you surprise a movie audience!
Friday night, October 23, Quentin Tarantino appeared at AFI Fest for a special screening of his 2019 Oscar-winning film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
But what happened afterward was something nobody in the audience expected.
During a conversation at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre, Tarantino surprised moviegoers by screening the first 17 minutes of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.
Yes, movie lovers!
Brad Pitt’s beloved stuntman is back!
The upcoming film brings Brad Pitt back to the role that earned him an Academy Award.
But here’s the fascinating twist.
Although Tarantino wrote the screenplay, the new movie is directed by David Fincher, the filmmaker behind Se7en, Fight Club, The Social Network, and Gone Girl.
The sequel takes place in 1977, eight years after the events of the original movie.
According to reports from TheWrap, Variety, and Deadline, the surprise footage revealed that Cliff Booth has moved into a different phase of his Hollywood life.
The film will receive an exclusive IMAX theatrical release beginning November 25, 2026, before arriving on Netflix on December 23.
MANNY’S TAKE
Oh, I LOVE this!
Tarantino and Fincher?
Two filmmakers with completely different cinematic personalities collaborating on the same movie?
That’s fascinating!
Tarantino creates characters who practically jump off the screen with their dialogue, humor, and unpredictability.
Fincher brings psychological precision, visual sophistication, and a wonderfully dark sensibility.
And Brad Pitt is the perfect actor to connect those two worlds.
Remember how effortlessly cool Cliff Booth was in the original?
I can’t wait to see what happens when Fincher gets his hands on him!

👽 A NEW ALIEN MOVIE IS COMING! RIDLEY SCOTT REUNITES WITH PRISONERS SCREENWRITER!
IN SPACE, NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM. AGAIN!
The Alien universe is expanding!
A new installment of the legendary science-fiction horror franchise is officially in development at 20th Century Studios.
And this one has an intriguing creative team.
Aaron Guzikowski, who wrote Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed thriller Prisoners, has been hired to write the screenplay.
Original Alien director Ridley Scott will produce alongside Michael Pruss through Scott Free Productions.
Guzikowski and Scott previously collaborated on the HBO science-fiction series Raised by Wolves.
But here’s where things get interesting.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new movie is expected to connect to Scott’s earlier Alien prequels:
Prometheus (2012) and Alien: Covenant (2017).
The project is not being developed as a direct sequel to Alien: Romulus.
However, several important details remain unknown.
No director has been announced, and Michael Fassbender, whose android characters played major roles in the prequels, is not currently attached.
MANNY’S TAKE
Okay, now I’m intrigued!
I have always believed that Alien works best when it combines genuine terror with fascinating philosophical questions.
And that’s exactly what Prometheus attempted to explore.
Where did humanity come from?
Who created us?
And what happens when our creations begin questioning their own existence?
Those are enormous ideas for a horror franchise!
And Aaron Guzikowski is particularly good at exploring morally complicated characters.
Just watch Prisoners!
I’m hoping this new movie gives us something genuinely frightening, intelligent, and emotionally unsettling.
Because a great Alien movie should do more than make us jump.
It should make us think.

🦸 OSCAR-NOMINATED SANDRA HÜLLER REPORTEDLY JOINS AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY!
MARVEL’S NEXT MYSTERY HAS AN OSCAR CONNECTION!
Here’s an unexpected addition to the Marvel universe!
Sandra Hüller, the extraordinary actress from Anatomy of a Fall and The Zone of Interest, is reportedly appearing in Avengers: Doomsday.
According to an October 23 report from The Hollywood Reporter, Hüller has a cameo role in the upcoming superhero blockbuster.
But exactly whom is she playing?
That’s the mystery!
Online speculation has connected her character to Doctor Doom and the fictional kingdom of Latveria.
One theory suggests that she could portray Cynthia von Doom, Doctor Doom’s mother.
However, that character identification is unconfirmed.
Marvel has declined to comment on the casting report.
The movie, featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, is scheduled to arrive in theaters December 18, 2026.
MANNY’S TAKE
Now THIS is interesting casting!
Sandra Hüller is one of the most compelling actresses working today.
Her performances are intelligent, layered, and often emotionally devastating.
And if Marvel really has brought her into the Avengers universe, I hope they give her something meaningful to do.
Not just a quick appearance designed to make fans gasp.
An actress of her caliber deserves a character with substance.
And wouldn’t it be wonderful if a superhero movie gave us another genuinely unforgettable dramatic performance?

🎭 CLAYFACE LEADS THE EARLY WEEKEND BOX OFFICE!
DC’S SHAPE-SHIFTING VILLAIN IS MAKING HIS MOVE!
The weekend box-office battle is underway!
DC Studios’ R-rated horror thriller Clayface is heading toward a potentially solid opening.
According to Deadline’s Friday estimates, the film earned approximately $9.5 million on Friday, including Thursday previews.
Early projections suggest an opening weekend of approximately $23 million to $25 million.
But there’s competition!
You Can See Everything, the documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, is also performing strongly as it expands into wider theatrical release.
Early estimates place that film near $19 million for the weekend.
And what about LAIKA’s animated fantasy Wildwood?
Unfortunately, early box-office reports suggest a challenging opening for the handcrafted stop-motion adventure.
Important: These are preliminary estimates. Final weekend totals will not be available until later.
MANNY’S TAKE
I love seeing audiences support movies that take creative chances!
And Clayface is certainly an unusual direction for a superhero franchise.
Instead of another conventional action spectacle, DC has embraced body horror and psychological suspense.
That’s interesting!
But I’m also keeping my fingers crossed for Wildwood.
Stop-motion animation requires extraordinary artistry and patience.
And I hope audiences continue supporting films that celebrate that kind of craftsmanship.

🐊 CRAWL 2 ADDS FIVE NEW CAST MEMBERS!
THE ALLIGATORS ARE HUNGRY AGAIN!
Horror fans, get ready!
The sequel to the 2019 creature-feature hit Crawl is moving forward with several new cast members.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah Niles, best known for Ted Lasso, has joined the upcoming film.
Also joining the cast are Ray Panthaki, Flula Borg, Richard Brake, and Charley Palmer Rothwell.
They join previously announced stars Mason Gooding and Emily Rudd.
And here’s the exciting part.
Original director Alexandre Aja is returning!
The first movie followed a young woman and her father trapped inside a flooded Florida home during a hurricane.
And they weren’t alone.
Hungry alligators were waiting!
The sequel reportedly moves the action from Florida to New York.
- Crawl 2* is scheduled for theatrical release July 16, 2027.
MANNY’S TAKE
Sometimes all I want from a horror movie is a simple premise executed beautifully.
And the original Crawl delivered!
A hurricane.
A flooded house.
Giant alligators.
What more do you need?
The movie understood that suspense doesn’t always require an elaborate mythology.
Sometimes survival is enough!
And moving the action to New York could open up some wonderfully terrifying possibilities.

The upcoming film will conclude the anime’s story.
An exact release date and international distribution plans have not yet been announced.
MANNY’S TAKE
I love seeing animation treated as a major theatrical event!
And Japanese anime continues demonstrating that audiences around the world are hungry for imaginative storytelling.
The best animated movies don’t simply rely on spectacle.
They build emotional connections with characters.
And when those characters finally reach the end of their journeys, the theatrical experience can make that farewell even more powerful.
Bring on the monsters!
